In 2008, Mary was deeply moved by how grateful the orphanage was when she and her husband delivered a suitcase full of
medicine on their first trip to Russia to adopt their beautiful daughter. Mary, her husband and son were thrilled to
return from Russia soon thereafter with their newest family member. As someone with more than 15 years experience in
medical and program evaluation, she knows the importance of getting value for money in providing health care.
Sometimes, so little can accomplish so much. She is committed to continuing to care for those children who remain
behind and welcomes those who want to work towards this goal with her.
