Helping Orphans Progress Everyday is a non-profit corporation and tax exempt charitable organization registered with Canada Revenue Agency. Our BN number is 83772 8690 RR0001.

Helping Orphans uses events-based fundraising to cover administrative expenses so that all donations can be sent directly to Russia. We aim to ensure that every dollar is accounted for and that the items we provide benefit orphans directly.

We can accept donations by cheque or credit card (with PayPal).


Donation Matching
If you are travelling to Russia for an adoption and would like to provide assistance to the orphanage you will be visiting, Helping Orphans will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes and will match your donation (up to $250 Canadian). The funds will be wire transferred to you once you arrive in Russia. Please contact us for further information.

Corporate Matching Donation Programs
Many companies offer "Corporate Matching Donation Programs" that encourage their employees to make philanthropic gifts to charities. They will sponsor matching gifts either directly or via their corporate/employee foundations and will match any charitable contributions made by their current and past employees, board members, directors as well as spouses, widows and widowers.

If you currently work or previously worked for one of the companies listed below, or for one of their affiliate or subsidiary companies, and you make a contribution to Helping Orphans, your employer will match your gift dollar for dollar. In fact, many companies will match at a higher ratio than 1:1.

If your company is on the list below, contact your corporate donations officer or human resources department for a matching gift application form. Fill in the form according to your company's policies, return it to the appropriate division and forward your donation to Helping Orphans. If your employer is not listed, please check with your human resources department as they may also have a corporate matching donation policy in place.

United Way Campaign
Did you know that if you are already participating in a United Way Campaign at your workplace, you can direct your donation to Helping Orphans through a designation of funds. Simply add our charity name (Helping Orphans Progress Everyday) and BN#83772 8690 RR0001 to the bottom of your form. Due to privacy regulations, United Way will not provide donor information with their funds transfer to Helping Orphans. If you choose to donate via United Way, we thank you for your kind support. You will receive acknowledgement and tax receipts from the United Way only.
