Marie, a financial coordinator with the public sector, has dedicated countless hours to volunteering for select
charities over the years. During their first trip to Russia, she and her husband were asked to deliver a
donation to the Volgograd City baby home where she saw first-hand the difference that Helping Orphans'
generosity can make in the lives of the children overseas. By using her combined experiences Marie has
become more involved on an ongoing basis by coordinating the donations for the orphanage assistance program.
Marie and her husband adopted their son from Russia in March 2010.
